We have a large 10 acre site with extensive blacksmith’s workshops, an extraordinary historic house and our metal-art gallery (Fire & iron). 505 Games

In March 2025 we hosted a large event for 505 Games with the official preview & press event for the release of ‘Blades of Fire’ computer game (released 22nd May 2025). VIP game developers, journalists and influencers arrived from countries including Spain, Portugal, Italy, Japan, Germany and America. We facilitated fully hands-on blacksmithing sessions for over 60(!) of their guests, over two days and hosted 17 ‘505 games’ and event staff. There were presentations held in our demonstration arena, and 14 gaming PCs set up and staged in one of the rooms in our Fire & Iron Gallery. It was all filmed and live-streamed. A fantastic event with a superb atmosphere throughout.

Sky TV

In 2022, we worked with Sky TV who utilised our unique and spacious blacksmithing facilities for their exciting new TV series which seeks to reinvigorate heritage crafts. We hosted the blacksmithing aspects of ‘The Prince’s Master Crafters’ TV series at our workshops, which aired in June 2022.

Sky Arts and the then, Prince Charles set out to reinvigorate heritage crafts in the series, 'The Prince's Master Crafters: The Next Generation'. Hosted by Jim Moir, the series sees a selection of top amateur craftspeople from across Britain. They take on a variety of crafting challenges that explore the history and importance of six key disciplines in order to supercharge their skills, before each of them creates a final showcase piece to present to His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales in person.

Both our house (Rowhurst) and our blacksmithing businesses (Fire & Iron Limited and The Quinnell School of Blacksmithing ) have featured in country life magazine on a number of occasions since 1992.
